The Lord of the Seven Hills
Lord Venkateswara is worshipped as Vishnu’s compassionate manifestation for this age. The sacred traditions of Tirumala are told on this website so devotees in North Bengal may know the Lord in whose name this railway-community shrine was raised.
Congregation
Memories of prayer and belonging, published only with consent and review.
This is an extraordinarily powerful temple. I believe that when someone comes here with sincere faith, prays wholeheartedly and makes a sacred vow, Lord Venkateswara listens. The Lord’s grace has touched generations of families connected with this temple, including my own.
More memories from devotees and railway families are being collected for the Golden Jubilee archive.
Gallery
Photographs of worship, community and the precinct at Rail Bazaar.
